Hi, My name is Diane,

I met Marc and Barb at a local coffee club in Hastings. I have only known them for 5 years but I have been touched by their love and kindness for all they come in contact with. Marc always has an off-the-wall joke to make you laugh. Barb his wife is always at his side caring for him. She has had jobs outside the home but because they couldn't get stable help to come in and care for Marc she has had to leave her job and care for him herself.

The reason I have set up this go fund me page is, Some people just have a bad day and others are put through more than their share of strife. Marc and Barb have had to deal with more than the average couple ever should have to in their lifetime. Marc is a Vet and suffers from constant extreme vertigo associated with Meniere's Disease. This has made Marc wheelchair-bound. His wife Barb is his main caregiver.

They have been through so much physically, financially, and emotionally I don't know how they can keep smiling. Barb takes care of Marc, the home, and the property. This has caused great anxiety and depression for Barb as she has more than the average responsibilities of a caregiver and provider.

I'm hoping the funds raised will help ease the emotional and financial burden of their medical bills, household needs, emergency home repairs and to help them get through the winter.

When you see someone struggling you don't stand there and watch. You jump in and help where it is needed. I believe in the only parable that you should love thy neighbor as thy self.

As you prepare for your family this Holiday Season please think of them and what they are struggling through. Lift them up in prayer. If we all give a little we can do great things for this couple.
