A local, small-town Texas student is in dire need of YOUR help to achieve her college degree.
My name is Khai Pormprasong, and I’m a graduating senior at Bastrop High School. I’m a student who wishes to continue her education, specifically a BFA in Musical Theatre. Theatre has been my #1 passion for over 5 years, and I am strongly considering a fulfilling career as a performer. Now, I need the funds more than ever.
For this year’s FAFSA, I had not expected to get a federal Pell Grant of less than $1,000. Considering that:
- my parent does not have the same job from 2023,
- my parents are unwilling to financially help me,
- and the fact that I have been recently fired from my job,
money is even more difficult to come by, especially for an out-of-state college, where I am required to be housed on campus.
While I manage to juggle schoolwork, job searching, after-school commitments, and preparing to move in with extended family, I need funds for my college education at a greater rate than ever before. In a time where I struggle to afford gas, I can only imagine how blessed I would be with the money to fulfill my education.
Sharing this fundraiser will do wonders, but donating will help me even more. In these trying times, any and all donations are greatly appreciated.
