LOCAL SUGAR going to Malmö, Sweden!
Putting the power of the Internet to work! This spring, I am going to talk with investors and producers about projects including multiple-award-winning animated feature screenplay LOCAL SUGAR at The Financing Forum for Kids Content in Malmö, Sweden.
I am accredited--the doors are open. Unfortunately they are very far away!
I am setting up this GoFundMe in hopes of getting together enough funds to cover my flight and _very_ modest accommodations near or in Malmö. I'll couch-surf, or be fine with a hostel--if I have anything left over it's going straight into concept art and promotion for the stories.
LOCAL SUGAR in particular appeals to a broad audience--those who lived through the era it portrayed, loved the animated features and action films of the '70s, or (I hope) anyone who happens to breathe air. If I could make a living telling stories that make people feel good, I'd feel like I'd really "made it"--even if it just keeps some food on the table and the lights on. Please help me give my stories the best chance!
