We are The Sustaianble Kitchen, a unique and well-loved business that focuses entirely on sustainability and ethics. Our mission is to provide exceptional, high-quality, delicious, and affordable plant-based food that is good for you and the planet.

Our plant-based menu is created by Michelin trained chefs and a Registered Nutritionist, so you can be sure that you are getting the best of both worlds: taste and health. Our dishes are made with fresh, organic, and locally sourced ingredients, and we cater to a variety of dietary preferences and needs.

We have gained huge recognition and success because of our innovative and satisfying plant-based cuisine. We have been featured in several media outlets, such as ITV, BBC Radio Nottingham. We have also received rave reviews from our customers, who love our food and our friendly service. But we are not stopping here. We have a big dream: to open a city centre pop-up that will showcase our amazing plant-based food to a wider audience. We want to share our passion and vision with more people, and inspire them to join us in making a positive change for themselves and the environment.

That’s why we need your help.

Operating a business as sustainably as possible does come with higher operating costs and opening in crazy, post-covid time also cost us double the money we expected. We’ve successfully navigated some serious price fluctuations throughout the year but we always needed to open Bingham SK in the evenings for the business model to work. We were very shocked when this opportunity was taken away from us. The last of our money has gone to solicitors so Bingham SK is in trouble.

Someone has come to our aid! A fantastic opportunity has presented itself to bring our unique concept to Nottingham City Centre. We have been offered the space by a generous customer who loves what we do but we need a little support for a basic fit out and equipment.

Very excitingly - We will have our own produce grown in an 88 acre Organic farm that’s managed using some of the most sustainable practices and as always, we only source the highest quality produce from local producers and small independent businesses.

There are already investors interested in helping us take this next step, but once The SK is back on it’s feet. We will then be developing the other half of the property into a Restaurant with a vaulted basement Wine Room.

It really is a literal “make or break” situation and time is of the essence.
