Strange Attractor film - crowdfunding campaign
Donation protected
G'day,
We are a community of rural filmmakers making a short film called STRANGE ATTRACTOR as a proof of concept to get funding for a feature film.
Strange Attractor is a dark comedy thriller with a twist of absurdity set 'sometime in the near future'. Mysterious happenings abound, missing people and a strange emerging philosophy that encourages all who come in contact to be inconvenient to this suffocatingly convenient society. It is a battle to take back our purpose, embrace our foolishness, and discover the magic of who we really are to the extreme.
The funds we wish to raise will support the cast and crew by covering food, transport and accomodation primarily but if we make the entire amount we wish to pay the cast and crew for their craft.
We hope to distribute this film to national and international film festivals to build our presence as a community of filmmakers, actors and crew to move into feature length dramas.
We will be shooting this film in Granite Belt/New England regions surrounding the rural towns of Stanthorpe and Tenterfield.
It is a showcase of our regional talent and our beautiful Australian environment and cultures as we move into a new era of change and uncertainty. This film will be enjoyed and at the same time will set the internal cogs at a steady pace with mystery and intrigue.
Your support will make a huge difference in completing this goal in an efficient manner whilst relieving stress as we take a moment to step away from treadmill to create something totally unique.
