Local Petsitter Desperately Needs a Reliable Car
My name is Stacey and I am the owner of Frankly Pets, Dog Walking & Pet Sitting Services. I am an one-woman operation. I desperately need a car because mine recently broke down. The future of my business and my livelihood depends on it. My days are typically filled with home visits to furclients for potty breaks, feedings, walks, playtime, naps, and an abundance of love. I also offer overnight services. I may drive 85 miles in a day just doing home visits. Needless to say, a vehicle is essential in order to run my business. Without one, I fear I will lose everything.
I have worked very hard to build this business. I started with one dog walk in 2017. Then I got another, and another. Then the dog walks expanded into overnights - and before I knew it, I was working 7 days a week. I have worked weekends, holidays, on days I wasn’t feeling well, during winter storms and heatwaves since 2017. I have earned the trust of my clients, who have become my extended family. I finally found what I should be doing with my life - the thing that gives me purpose and makes me happy beyond anything I could have ever imagined.
And then a few weeks ago, I was on the freeway coming from a furclient’s house, when my engine suddenly stopped running. I had no power, no brakes, and no power steering. By the grace of God, I coasted over 3 lanes to the side of the freeway, without being hit. I was towed home and tried to get my car running, but had no luck.
I am in a bad way - and it scares me. I have no way to replace my car. I do not have a partner to pull up the slack; I have no money; and because of some poor decisions I have made in life, I have bad credit.
But I don’t want to focus on the sad chapters that led me to where I am today. I want to focus on my beautiful future and becoming the woman who kept getting back up and fighting no matter what life threw at her. But I need help. And that’s where you come in. YOU can be part of my success story by donating to my car fund. I do not need anything fancy. I just need something reliable and safe. No donation is too small - and I have a donor who is willing to match each donation dollar for dollar.
Your donation will help keep my small business running. It will remind me I can overcome any obstacle and never to lose my faith in people because there still is goodness and kindness in the world. But most of all, it will give me the means I need to continue working. I am NOT afraid of working hard. In fact, I thrive on it. And you have my word, I will pay it forward someday if we are able to pull this off.
Thank you for your consideration. Love and peace to you….
