We are a North London local group of Palestine supporters who want to highlight the catastrophic situation of Palestinians in Gaza by holding local actions.

Our first action is a vigil focusing on the impact of the ongoing calamity facing the children and youth of Gaza - who make up the highest number of child amputees in recorded history. This impact is not just physical, Medical Aid for Palestinians reports that over one million children in Gaza urgently require support for trauma.

We intend to hold a number of vigils, each focusing on a different aspect of the genocide in order to create awareness in our area. Further vigils will provide information on the BDS movement, and alternative news sources to mainstream reporting on Palestine.

Gaza has been razed to the ground. All infrastructure needed for basic survival has been destroyed. Over one million people are living in temporary make-shift shelters, with no access to sanitation, water, or warmth. This population which has been continually displaced in the past two years are in a dire situation. With winter here, these horrors cannot be overstated.

MAP is our charity of choice, as they have been providing medical services in Palestine and other countries with high numbers of Palestinian refugees for decades.
