Local nursery Kerrie’s cherubs flood damage

On the 8th of October 2024 Blyth was hit with a month’s worth of rain within 24hours which has had a devastating impact on the nursery.

The whole ground floor is water damaged causing all resources, equipment and flooring needing to be replaced.

As a staff team we have worked extremely hard to create stimulating, caring, and inviting environments for our children and this has sadly all been destroyed within a few hours.

Due to the nursery being in a high flood risk area the excess on our insurance is £10,000, any donations would be extremely appreciated.
