Local Mans Livelihood Burns In Fire

Donation protected
We are trying to raise money for my father Dwight Souther after a fire burned down his shed. It was a shed that he built from the ground up which his livelihood depends on. It's where he built lobster traps, painted buoys, repaired fishing gear and so much more. It's where he fixed the chain on my bike when I was a kid and where he pumped up the tires on first my car. It's where he taught my little brothers how to use tools and how to craft and how to be hardworking and independent like himself. The same way he did for me when I was growing up. It's where he goes to "get more work done" when really he's just going to shoot the shit with a buddy on the phone while hiding from the chaos my brothers love to create in the house (I don't know how Marcee hasn't ripped his head off yet), some men have their man cave, my father has his shed. While this shed held many irreplaceable memories, it also held a lot of things that can be replaced with the help of our family, friends, neighbors and community. Things like countless tools, boat electronics, race car parts, coils of rope for fishing, new wire for lobster traps, fishing rods and much more.
Most of you know Dwight. Perhaps some of you know him to be the mad politics man, the facebook felon (considering all of the facebook jail time he's done), the man who always smells like fish bait, who talks too fast and mumbles too much, the man who loves to stir the pot just to get a reaction out of people (he was born to aggravate). I know him to be all of that too. But I also know him to be the worlds most amazing father and the provider for his family. I know he's an honest, hard-working man who puts most everyone before himself and is always willing to lend a helping hand. He's the man you call when you find yourself in a pickle, because if he can't get the job done personally, he sure as hell knows someone who can (it honestly blows my mind how many people this man knows... you should see him drive around town, his hand is always in the air ready to wave at the next passerby). I know he's one of the most friendly people I've ever met, he's able to strike up a conversation with anyone at any time. I know him to be the man who can make me laugh harder than anyone else can. And he's always there when you need him. Thank you for taking your time to read this, it means a lot. Whatever you can do to help is greatly appreciated.
