Our community has just faced a devastating storm, leaving a trail of destruction in its wake. Among those affected is my incredible grandmother, Denesa Cook, the heart and soul behind Whiteman-Cook Greenhouse. At 70 years old, she has dedicated her life to serving our community, pouring her love and hard work into her beloved greenhouses.
Unfortunately, the storm completely destroyed her greenhouses, and her insurance does not cover the cost of the materials she needs to rebuild. Without immediate support, she may not be able to open for the season—putting not only her business and livelihood at risk but also those of the employees who rely on Whiteman-Cook’s Greenhouse for their income.
For years, she has given so much to others, bringing beauty, nourishment, and kindness to everyone she meets. Now, she needs our help.
We are asking our community to come together to help Denesa rebuild and keep her business alive. Every donation, no matter how small, will go directly toward restoring her greenhouses so she and her employees can continue doing what they love.
If you are able to give, please consider donating to this small, but very important business. If you can’t donate, please share this with others—spreading the word is just as powerful!
Let’s show her the same kindness and support she has given to so many. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts!
