Hi, I am writing this fundme for Hakan and Mary Ugdur for their 200 family members who have all lost their homes. The Ugdur family has lived in the village of Malataya for 100 years! His family fled the Armenian massacre and found peace in this village until this horrible 7.5 earthquake. All family, Hakan's mom,dad,brothers,sister,aunts,uncles,nieces,nephews ALL lost their homes. They had to ride in the back of a truck in 30 degree weather for over an hour to find safety in a warehouse in a nearby city. Hakan and Mary own Unlimited Tennis Club in Fort Meyers. Hakan came here to the USA on a scholarship to study engineering in NYC. He worked driving pedicabs to put himself through school and created a business with pedi cab charge cards, then a bike rental business. As owner of UTC, Mary and Hakan have raised funds for childhood cancer, toys for tots,tennis gear for local high school kids, Christmas for area neighborhoods,and funds for tennis members who lost everyrhing with hurricane Ian. This amazing couple are now in dire need to help their family in Turkey.
