A message from Sinead:
I just want to say a huge thank you to everyone who has donated so far. Your kindness, generosity, and support mean more to me and my family than I can ever put into words.
I thought I would share a little bit about what’s been happening. I’m a mum to two amazing boys, aged 7 and 4. The nursery has done an incredible job organising this fundraiser, and I will be forever grateful for everything they’ve done.
In December, I was diagnosed with stage 2 breast cancer. Since then, I’ve had three surgeries and have recently started chemotherapy. Once chemotherapy is complete, I’ll need another major operation—a mastectomy with reconstruction.
The last seven months have been an absolute rollercoaster, with so many challenges and emotions along the way. In September, I’ll be moving onto half pay, so every donation raised will make a huge difference as I continue through the next stage of my treatment and recovery.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for every donation, every message, and every bit of support. It truly means the world to us.
