Local Families with Children #Maui4Life

Aloha, my name is Litea Maiava. I am raising funds for local families with children directly impacted by the Maui wildfires. I am a 2001 graduate of Lahainaluna and a native of Maui, where my family recently lost our home in Lahaina, along with many others. As a member of this community, I know individual families who have been affected, and I want to directly assist those who have lost homes, jobs and are raising families.

There has already been an outpouring of support from various sources. We are truly thankful for all who contribute and continue assisting with recovery and rebuilding efforts.

These funds will be deposited directly into individual families’ financial accounts, in need right now, as they begin the arduous journey of healing. I have already been able to distribute funds to 4 families that collectively care for 17 children. These families have lost homes in the Lahaianaluna and Wahikuli areas. Funds will continue to be distributed as soon as they are processed. Rest assured you are providing needed assistance to real families in real time! Mahalo ke Akua!
