Donate to help local DJ replace stolen equipment

Hi my name is Jerome Reyes also known as JROME amongst a small DJ community in the Bay Area. On Saturday evening after work, my girlfriend ( Lenneah Pasion) and I decided to go bowling at one of the venues I DJ at, Hometown Bowl in South San Francisco. Within the two hours of us bowling, someone smashed our car’s window, raided our car and got into our trunk, where they stole both my DJ bag and Lenneah’s work bag. Both of which had our MacBooks, hardrives, and much more.

I grew up in South San Francisco, went to high school here. I felt safe here. I’ve been to this bowling alley so many times, I’ve preformed here multiple times. I was in my comfort zone. I got too comfortable. & that cost me and my girlfriend so much.

ALL my music, my mixes, my projects, my production, my samples, my videos, lived on that computer. Many of which were backed up on to a 2tb SSD DRIVE, which was also in that bag. Fortunately I have about half of that saved on a drive at home. But the other half is completely lost. Years of music, projects, and recordings, and even photos, all lost. I had to cancel the gigs I have this week until I can borrow a computer or buy a new one.

the worst part isn’t even about me, I feel horrible for my girlfriend, Lenneah. Lenneah recently quit her job 9-5 job to become a realtor. She’s just starting out. As a congratulations to passing her real estate exam, I bought her a MacBook Air. Which I am financing along with my MacBook Pro. Both of our computers aren’t even paid off yet. both of our computers are how we make money, and survive. I have a day job at least, however Lenneah’s whole career is on her computer. Her ability to work as a realtor is now compromised. I feel horrible. We feel violated. Insurance will cover the window ( with deductible) but not what we lost inside. Not what they took from us.
