Local Delta High Schoolers do it again

For the second year in a row, Jax Soto and Nathan Tritt have qualified for the Major League Fishing (MLF) National High School Championship. This time they qualified three different ways - 1) winning the MLF qualifier, 2) placing 2nd in the Tournament Bass Fishing (TBF) Championship and 3) overall accumulated points in the state. This is a huge accomplishment for these lower classmen (Jax , a Freshman and Nathan, a Sophomore).

We are raising money to send Jax and Nathan to La Crosse, Wisconsin to fish on the Mississippi River where the 3-day tournament will be held (June 21-23). This journey is about 4,000 miles round trip. Brad Soto, the Delta Saints Bass Teams Coordinator, will be hauling his boat and taking the boys on this trip. The funds raised will be used to provide transportation, food, lodging and fuel. We estimate the total cost is minimum $6,000.
