Help Will, the man who went off Wolf Creek Pass

On June 23 2020, 36 year old Will Hardaway, found himself in a creek at the bottom of a ravine after having careering off the road and tumbling nearly a 1000 feet down the side of the cliff on Wolf Creek Pass. The Pass is notoriously dangerous and it's seldom anyone survives when going over the edge. Its a miracle he's alive.
Hardaway is the owner of Will Built Construction, which he began in 2018, specializing in custom builds and remodels. Serving on the Board of Directors of San Juan County Home Builders Association, Will is known for his high end craftsmanship and dedication to the construction industry. With the recent pandemic however, jobs have slowed or been postponed. Will picked up odd jobs where he could, including helping someone move from Colorado to Arizona. He was en route on that trip towing a Jeep Wrangler and a side by side on a goose neck trailer over Wolf Creek Pass when his vehicle experienced mechanical issues and he plunged off the Pass.
Hardaway spent 20 hours at the bottom of the ravine, fighting to get out of the crushed truck cab and trying several times to climb back up to the steep slope to reach the road despite being severely injured. He was found by Colorado State Patrol the next day and flown to a Colorado Springs hospital where he was in ICU and treated for a broken spine and compound fracture to his arm.
Will is currently recovering at home. Able to walk a little, and although suffering a severe concussion, he is lucid and nothing but positive in spite of the looming expenses as a result of this accident. His insurance had lapsed due to financial strain of the pandemic, leaving him without health coverage.
Hardaway will be unable to work for several months, and is at risk of losing equipment and work vehicles for nonpayment during his recovery time. Our efforts aim to support Will during this time, allowing him to concentrate on healing so he can hit the ground running once he is recovered.
