On the afternoon of December 30th 2025, a house fire claimed the life of Maria Dickerson and her two beloved cats. Her husband Jeff Dickerson and their adjoined neighbor Benjamin Jones were left devastated and displaced. Benjamin is a world renowned artist that has permanent collections in galleries and museums all over the country. He also enriches our lives by moonlighting at our Tybee IGA. We hope to aid him in his efforts to salvage any damaged art or personal belongings as well as supply basic needs, clothing and housing in the months to come.

We also hope for peace in this time of grief for all those affected by this tragedy.

A separate GoFundMe has been set for Jeff Dickerson at the following url under the title,

"Help Jeff Rebuild After Tragic Fire"
