Local 229 Brotherhood Hat Pass

Anthony is a Local 229 Ironworker that unfortunately had a bad accident at work. While at work at the top of a 26 foot wall he went to release the wall from the crane and the bracing holding the wall gave way. Anthony was tied off to the wall which makes him part of the wall when the wall fell he fell with it and instead of being on top of the fall he was on the bottom where the wall fell on top of him crushing his hard hat and breaking his jaw and a few bones in his jaw. Thank God he is alive. He was rushed to the hospital and was taken to surgery. He made it out okay but his jaw is wired shut. A few of his local 229 brothers asked him to set this up as if they were passing the hat around the job site since that is what brothers do and even though we just moved his is still a big part of the Local 229 brotherhood!

Local 229 Ironworker for life.
