My name is Steven Truong and I am the son of Loc Quoc Truong. I am writing to you all today to let you know about the loss of my father. My father has been fighting liver cancer since 2006 - he was a fighter and survived for over 15+ years until August 30th, 2022 at 4:47PM. He passed away very peacefully, surrounded by all his loved ones.

My father was a generous and loving man. He loved his family so dearly and showed me what true love was and what it felt like. Those who knew him knew how strong and gentle he was. Words cannot express how amazing a man he was as a husband, son, brother, uncle, friend, and father.

I would like to invite you all to his funeral service. The funeral service will be held at Chun Fook Funeral Services on Tuesday, September 6th, from 2PM-6PM. The address is 134-35 Northern Blvd, Flushing, NY 11354.

My family and I will be taking care of all the funeral and burial expenses. I have set up this GoFundMe for anyone interested in donating and showing their support. My mother and I do not have any set goals and will accept any donations made to help our family, no matter the amount. Regardless of any monetary donations, we truly appreciate all of your kind words, condolences, and support during this difficult time.
