Help My Student and Her Family
Donation protected
I have taught for 21 years. I have a passion for what I do and love my students. Two years ago, I had the privilege of teaching an incredibly sweet autistic student in third grade. This child brightened my every day and those around her. She is what I would call a very happy spirit and is definitely a blessing to all that meet her. When I moved up to teach fifth grade, I was blessed to, once again, be this student's teacher. Unfortunately, her mom has been diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer and stage 4 cervical cancer. She's been through chemo and radiation and has lost her hair and hope at times. In addition, they have lost their home and much of their belongings. Recently, my student's mom was given the news that she was terminal, yet she remains strong. She is inspiring and wants the best for her family. If there is anything you can do to help this precious family, it would be greatly appreciated! I love this student like my own. Thank you, in advance, for any help! Together, we can show this family the incredible love they deserve.
