“O tranquil soul, return to your Lord, well-pleased and pleasing to Him. Enter among My servants, and enter My Paradise.”

(Qur’an – Surah Al-Fajr, 89:27–30)

With hearts full of pain, yet surrendering to Allah’s will, we mourn the passing of a beautiful soul — Alaa Ahmad Mashaal, a kind and loving young man who returned to his Lord at the age of 24 due to a sudden tragic accident.

I write these words as a close friend of his grieving mother — a woman whose heart beats with patience and faith despite the storm of loss. Alaa was more than a son to her; he was her joy, her strength, and her pride. His kindness to his parents, his gentleness in speech, and his warm presence made him beloved to all who knew him.

His passing came without warning, and his family is now navigating both the deep emotional loss and the financial burden of funeral and burial costs.

I’ve started this campaign to support his family in this difficult time. Every contribution — no matter the amount — is a form of charity (sadaqah) in his name, and a comfort to those who mourn him.

please send your prayers to Alaa’s mercy and for his family’s patience.

May Allah expand his grave, shower him with mercy, and unite him with the righteous in Paradise.

“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and to Him we shall return.”

May your support be a light for his soul and a healing balm for his family’s hearts.

يا أيتها النفس المطمئنة ارجعي إلى ربّك راضية مرضية فادخلي

في عبادي وادخلي جنتي

بقلوب يملؤها الحزن والرضا بقضاء الله وقدره، أكتب هذه الكلمات نيابة عن عائلة غالية على قلبي، فقدت ابنها الأكبر الشاب علاء أحمد مشعل، الذي اختاره الله لجواره عن عمر ٢٤ عامًا إثر حادث أليم ومفاجئ.

كان علاء شابًا حسن الخُلق، طيب المعشر، بارًا بوالديه، ما رأينا منه إلا كل جميل ونحتسبه عند الله شهيداً باذن الله.

والدته السيدة الفاضلة لينا مشعل، من سكان سان هوزيه. رأيت محبتها له ولأخيه، واهتمامها بدينه وأخلاقه واستقامته، ورضاها عنه ورأيت دمعتها عليه وصبرها على قضاء الله. وهي اليوم تقف بين الحزن والاحتساب، لا تسأل إلا الدعاء والرحمة لولدها.

أطلقتُ هذه الحملة لأقف معها ومع عائلتها، لنخفف عنهم عبء تكاليف الجنازة والدفن، ولنكون يدًا واحدة في وقت البلاء

أسألكم الدعاء لأخينا علاء بالمغفرة والثبات فهو الآن يُسأل ولأهله بالصبر والسلوان
