I have never known such a driven person in my life. Someone who has worked so hard to achieve all of her goals and aspirations. I have also never known someone to have such uncommon hardships come crashing on her.
For those of you that know Rachel, you would say how amazing she is. She is kind, generous, hard working and tries to remain positive in the heaviest of situations. Turning any potential negative situation and making it into a good one. For those that know her personally, you know how far she has come in her life. Being a very young , single mom trying to do the best she can for Landon and herself . It breaks my heart to see her like this ..one thing after another...I feel she can never catch a break...
This situation is out of her hands, and I wish there was something more I could do because she would never ask. I have a really hard time understanding why bad things happen to good people. And Rachel is the exact example of that.
Rachel was involved in a care free evening gone horrible. While traveling on business, a night of fun and goofing around turned unimaginable. A fun act of a piggy back ride attempt landed her face first onto the cement. Her beautiful face has been burdened with large painful abrasions. Her maxilla has been fractured and her two front teeth have been chipped and have shifted in her mouth. Leaving her unable to close fully, chew or eat and in a tremendous amount of pain. There is a good chance that these teeth will be lost and dental implants will be needed. This is all just a waiting game right now . Some of these costs will be covered by her health insurance, but a lot will not be.
I am asking for your help to help cover the out of pocket expenses that she will endure. Any bit helps, and I know how grateful she would be.
Well wishes and a speedy recovery to you sis! I love you . You have a tough road ahead, but just know you have lots who love and care for you and I know that everyone that knows you will contribute at least a little something. We want that contagious smile back in full swing in no time.
