Lawrence Marzett III Needs a Healthy Heart! On behalf of the Marzett family, North Metro Martial Arts is setting up this page to raise funds for the ever growing medical costs that his family is incurring as he waits for a new heart and to keep his friends and community updated on his progress.
On September 30th, Lawrence was playing a pick up game of football with his friends. He collapsed and we would later find out that he had a heart attack. Lawrence's heart stopped for an unknown amount of time. He was life flighted to CHOA- Egleston where he is receiving excellent care.
He remains in the ICU where he is unconscious but responding to our voices. They will put in a pacemaker on Tuesday in hopes to help his body function while he waits for a new heart.
Lawrence Marzett III is in 10th grade at Campbell High School where he is in ROTC. He is also active at North Metro Martial Arts. We know many people want to come see him but only immediate family can be with him at this time. We are asking for prayers to be sent up on his behalf. Lawrence's family does not have insurance and needs our help for medical costs and lost wages so his family can be by his side. Every dollar will help!
