This past Sunday December 12th, LJ started with the flu. A virus that normally passes in a couple of days did not for LJ. He was rushed to the hospital Wednesday night and subsequently transferred to Hasboro as his condition worsened. The flu had developed into pneumonia and has required him to need to be on a ventilator while his body tries to heal. His mother, Jessica, has sat vigil at his beside, worried about him while also trying to mother her 2 other children; one of which is only 1 month old. His stepfather has had to put his work temporarily on hold while trying to help care for the family.

Any help you can provide for LJ’s parents would be greatly appreciated to help the pay for his medical bills and get through this difficult time. The funds raised go directly to Jess to care for her family.
