Many of you probably don’t know because I’m normally a pretty private person but I have not been in good health since January. I’ve had two in patient hospital stays and more doctors visits than I can count. We have finally gotten a diagnosis of POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) which is most likely from a concussion I suffered years ago in high school. POTS causes your autonomic nervous system to stop functioning properly which controls your heart rate, digestive track, and many other things. I have been bed bound because as soon as I stand my heart rate is 150+ . We have found a center that specializes in treating POTS & post concussive patients! They do a week long intensive where we will travel, stay in a hotel, and have 5 hours of treatments for 5 days, retraining my brain. Never in my life did I think I would find myself in a situation asking for help but here I am. The program is expensive and it is not something that insurance covers. If you feel led to help out financially in any way it would mean the world to me. I also just ask for prayers that this would bring complete healing to my body. It has been the most challenging thing I’ve ever been through but I trust that the Lord is ultimately the great physician. Thank you all in advance for your love and support!
