Hello friends and family, some of you may know the situation going on with Lizzy’s health for the last few years and some may not so we would like to inform you more and humbly ask for your love and support in this time.

Lizzy’s health began not doing well in January 2023 with an elevated heart rate, persistent nausea/vomiting, balance issues, and several other symptoms that led her to multiple hospital stays and being diagnosed with POTS (postural orthotic tachycardia syndrome); secondary to multiple traumatic brain injuries she has over the years prior mixed with COVID-19. During that time, there was a lot of trial and error regarding her treatment but it eventually led us to seeing a functional neurologist in Boca Raton, FL in May 2023 who’s wisdom greatly helped her recover to living a mostly normal life. For our first trip there we did a Go-Fund-Me to help us go there as all of the treatment is not covered by health insurance and so many of you donated which we are incredibly grateful for.

Since that first trip in May 2023, we have had to go a handful of other times which we were able to manage financially due to God’s grace and favor being that her health was more stable. We were trying and able to workout the lingering symptoms she still had in her everyday which led her to being able to go back to work, driving, and living independently.

More recently Lizzy’s health has began to regress starting in October 2025 where she began to have more of her neurological symptoms intensify. Lizzy is very strong and managed as much as she could until her body began to stop wanting to manage.

Since May 2026, it seems as though our life has been flipped upside down for a second time. Lizzy’s symptoms have unfortunately come back seemingly worse than before resulting in us seeking lots of care for her once again. After numerous specialty doctors that are local and seemed like could help, ended up making her worse and draining us not only financially but also physically and emotionally. The Lord has now led us back to going to Boca Raton for her neurological treatment as how she recovered so well there before; but we have not due to the simple fact it is very expensive and not within our means.

This Go-Fund-Me would allow us to travel and stay in Boca Raton for a week’s worth of treatment which the doctor feels confident he can help her get back to where she was before.

This is very short notice as we are planning to go there on this coming Monday 8/3; being that this was the only time they could fit us in without having to wait several more weeks with potentially another trip in the near future.

Do not feel obligated but if you feel led to donate to helping Lizzy’s recovery, we would like to thank you for your generosity. And if you don’t feel led or cannot, we do ask to be in prayer on Lizzy’s behalf and asking for the Lord’s hand on this trip.

The Lord has provided for all of our needs throughout this season and we know He will continue to. It’s unfortunate this has all even taken place but we live in a broken world full of sin, disease, and death; the reasons for some things that happen we cannot explain and the why we may never know. But by placing your faith in Jesus Christ, it gives us hope for tomorrow.
