To Lizzy’s Army,

Update: It is with very heavy hearts that we share, Lizzy passed away yesterday evening. In honor of Lizzy’s grandfather, Dr. Gerbasi, who spent his career as a kidney transplant surgeon, Lizzy’s organs will be donated to Connect Life. Thank you for all of the continued support and prayers you have all shown the families during this time.

Update: This is not the update we wanted to share, and for you to hear. Lizzy’s condition is continuing to worsen, and Lizzy is not going to make it. We appreciate all of the prayers and love that you have been giving Lizzy and our families. We ask you continue to pray for Ricky, both families and friends. Elizabeth is struggling from a severe brain infection. This condition has caused significant swelling and necessitated two surgical interventions so far. Elizabeth's condition remains critical. Please offer your support to Elizabeth and her family during this challenging time. Elizabeth is a newlywed, having married just last July at age 25.

Many of you have asked if there was any way to support Lizzy and her family, so at this time, we are creating this fund if anyone is able to donate. Any money raised will go towards the costs of unexpected expenses that Lizzy and her husband Ricky are facing at this time.
