Elizabeth S. Mission Trip to The Phillippines

Hiii!! My name is Elizabeth Simmons-Ochoa and I’m currently living in Austin, Texas after being a preschool teacher in Mexico for two years!  I have recently decided to go  on a Medical/ Children’s Ministry mission trip to the Philippines with Oak Hills Church. This is something I’ve been wanting to do for years. I feel excited, scared and anxious, just a mix of emotions. However, I can feel that this is something I’m meant to do and I can’t ignore that calling.

The main reason I’m attending this trip is to show the children in the villages where we step up our clinics that they are loved. I want to make sure that the they feel safe, supported and cared for while they or their families receive medical treatment. (I’ll probably hand out waaaay to many disney bandaids hahah)

I’m launching a gofundme because the reality is I don’t have the funds to make this trip. I need to raise 3000 dollars to cover my trip and expenses.

What I would ask is first and foremost would be to remember me in your prayers as well as everyone that will be on this mission so that we are given the strength needed to spread the love but also if you're willing and if you're able, I would ask that you would donate, any amount would help. Honestly, I’m extremely thankful just at the thought of anyone wanting to donate. I don’t think I can put into words what this all means to me.
