We’re fundraising for our amazing art teacher Lizzie Pitt, who has been diagnosed with grade 4 Glioblastoma, a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer.

When we were at school Mrs Pitt was everyone’s favourite teacher, even of the students she didn’t teach. She is like sunshine in human form and has the most positive, energetic presence that is so infectious and inspiring. She is so passionate and dedicated to every single student, always going above and beyond to help everyone. It was such a privilege to have been taught by her for both GCSE and A-levels, so after everything she’s done for us, we want to give back to her by raising as much money as we can.

All the money we raise will go directly to Lizzie and her family to help with daily living expenses and travel and accommodation for exploring alternative treatments and clinical trials.

We’re going to do a few challenges to raise money:

* Namwa and Nid are taking on the Yorkshire Three Peaks on Saturday 27th September

* Namwa, Amelia and Nid are going to do a sponsored run at Tatton Park 10k in Manchester on November 7th
