I never imagined I’d be writing this, but life threw me a painful curveball. Recently, I suffered a serious fall that left me with both a broken shoulder and a broken kneecap.

As a math teacher, I’ve always poured my heart into helping my students succeed, showing up for them every day—whether they needed help solving equations or just someone to believe in them. Now, I’m facing a challenge I can’t solve alone.

The injuries mean a long road to recovery: surgery, countless doctor visits, physical therapy, and months of limited mobility. In the meantime, I’m unable to work, and the medical bills are already piling up.
