Lizzie Cancer Care Fund

Lizzie is one of our employees at the Boston Mountain Educational Cooperative. She is one of our home visitors. She is dedicated to her community and the families that she serves. She works with parents to help them prepare their preschoolers for kindergarten. She is a joy to be around and is full of positivity. She brightens any room that she walks into. Her heart is to help others and strengthen families. Sweet Lizzie found out in January, that she has a tumor on her spine that is putting pressure on her nerves and preventing mobility in parts of her body. Lizzie is undergoing radiation treatments to shrink the tumor. Because of her mobility issues and her ongoing treatment, Lizzie has had to take a leave of absence. This fund is to help her and her family offset any costs that come with treatments and to help with the cost of living until Lizzie is able to resume her responsibilities at the Cooperative. Lizzie has given so much to others it is our turn to give back to her.
