My sister needs our prayers and our help!

There may be a lot of travel, plus being out of work for and unknown length of time, and we want to support Liz, get her bills paid and keep those girls in their school during this time so things can be as normal as possible for them. We have hope it might be something more minor, but even if it isn't, our God is powerful enough for this! I'm so grateful that Liz has been redeemed by the blood of the Lamb!!

God is with Liz and He can bring healing and victory out of this that is more incredible than we would have ever known!

She’s a daughter, a mother, a sister, a spouse and a best friend.  She is that one person that many of us have turned to for her strength - or perhaps to get out and have adventures with or simply a phone call to catch up and laugh.  Liz is one of those people who enters your heart and is there to stay.  Liz has been through some major challenges, her faith and those around her have helped her rise above.  We have watched her build a business to success, and most know how hard that is.  She never complains and never asks for much.  Life to Liz is only as good as you make it - no excuses, just live in that moment, be your best and be honest.  Liz’s love is so strong for her girls, her spouse and of course all her adorable furbabies.  


Thursday, January 14th, 2021 - Liz went in for a routine visit for what she described as an “annoying cough”.  A simple visit where her entire world was immediately turned upside down.  The doctors were prompt to start investigating what appeared to be something way worse than a cough.  When they took the x-rays, nodules appeared on her lungs, next was the CT scan which showed a 10cm tumor on her adrenal gland.  Many more procedures followed, PET scan, MRI, more blood work.  The next steps were to move quickly and that meant a trip down to the Mayo in Rochester, MN.  


Sunday, January 24th the doctors worked swiftly to uncover what was entirely the news that was feared.  After thorough diagnosis, Liz’s condition is directed towards Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma.  ACC (Adrenal Cortical Carcinoma) which is a rare disease.  It is caused by a cancerous growth in the adrenal cortex, which is the outer layer of the adrenal glands.  The adrenal glands lie on top of the kidneys.  They play an important role in the endocrine system, which is the system that produces and regulates hormones.      

 

Right now, Liz needs us.  She needs our prayers, she needs our support.  We need to ensure that Liz is able to receive the proper care she deserves - so she can FIGHT - and right now she will need financial support.  Liz is so very special to so many, she doesn’t ever ask for much.  Right now, we need to step forward and be there for her so she can get the care she needs.  Sweet Lillah (7) and Alexis (6) miss their momma, let's do all we can to ensure that Liz can hold those babies in her arms as long as possible and for them to be able to see their momma walk down the aisle to finally marry her best friend, their daddy.
