Liz's Job Loss: A Family in Need

I am setting up this GoFundMe on behalf of Liz Steadham Kingsley and her family (and with their permission). Last week, Liz was unexpectedly terminated from her position at the IRS – one of 30,000 people let go so far from a federal job.

Liz loved her job at the IRS and was devastated to receive the termination email. She loved the work she did and the flexibility it allowed her in being able to take care of her health and family. In addition to losing a job she loves, Liz is the primary earner for her family of three which is soon to be four. The Kingsleys are expecting their new baby in June. There is never a good time to lose your job but the newest Kingsley arrival is making this much more urgent. Not to mention the many health appointments, medications, and medical care that she, her husband, and her young son need right now.

Any amount will help - all money will go to Liz and supporting her family as she takes the time to find another job. We set an initial goal of $15,000, hopefully giving Liz and her family the time to manage family expenses as she looks for a new job. The weight and stress of this time is heavy but these are the times we call on our community to support.
