Help Liz Kick Cancer's Ass

As many of you know, Liz was diagnosed with glioblastoma multiforme (an aggressive type of brain cancer) last summer. She's been seeking treatment every place it's available, and she and Kieran have always relied on their own resources to get through this.

However, Liz's new clinical trial is in San Diego (the last one was in Denver), and it's going to cost them a ton to get back and forth from Colorado to California, and to pay for hotels, food, etc. while they're out there.

They've been hesitant to ask for financial assistance from anyone, but I really want to find a way to help them out.  All donations will go toward ensuring that Liz and Kieran can secure a place to stay that will have a positive impact on them rather than be an emotional, stressful drain. Donations will also go to their overall health and any future costs associated with treatment.

I've gotten to know Liz over the past few years, and I am inspired by her tenacity, humor, and all-around good-naturedness. I know I speak for many of us when I say that we want to do whatever we can to help out Liz and Kieran with the next phases of her treatment!
