Lizette De Arkos Hemorrhagic Stroke Recovery Fund
Unfortunately on May 5th, 2021 my sister, Lizette De Arkos suffered a life changing injury. She had a ruptured blood vessel cause hemorrhaging in her brain. She is currently in the ICU under careful watch and is stable. She is starting to be able to communicate and is starting to improve on the side of her body that experienced paralyzation.
I am incredibly grateful that she was able to find the strength to contact our mother as it was happening. This saved her life. I am also very thankful for the emergency teams that got to her within minutes.
My sister is a very hard working person. She is incredibly intelligent , has an incredible eye for art, and an impeccable attention to detail.
As many of you know, she has a tough exterior but it is only to be met by her kind and loving soul.
She has unrelenting determination to excel, but also to motivate her peers, and lead by example. She is the type of person I could take anywhere, from an executive meeting , to a late night taco truck run.
Unfortunately, what has transpired has created long term hurdles for Lizette to overcome. It will be a long fight, but she will overcome this, and we will always be by her side to help and care for her.
However, some battles she will have to overcome alone. My goal , is to help reduce the stress, and distraught of these hurdles. So she can solely focus on her recovery.
My sister has always been an advocate for women, Hispanic people, and many other causes. She has never harmed, lied to, or betrayed anyone.
She is the last person that deserves this.
The purpose of this campaign is to not only help her, but more importantly show her that her family, her friends, and her community appreciate her, care for her , and love her.
All proceeds will go directly to helping her receive the best medical care, the best rehabilitation, and to cover any unforeseen medical expenses.
