Hello my name is Lizeth I’m currently 33 years old, and a single mother of 5. My children and I have been thru so many obstacles. We started from 0 (Literally from nothing) after my divorce. God has never left our side, you could just imagine how hard it was for me to raise them having full custody and on my own. After enduring this for 5 yrs my life finally seem to be changing for the better including an amazing job, everything FINALLY seem to be getting into place when suddenly my health took a turn. As many as you know a year ago i started my battle against this monster which doctors confirmed the results of Ovarian Cancer (Gynecologic Neoplasms).

I had Abdominal hysterectomy surgery, my Tubes, uterus, ovaries, and cervix, and the omen tum where removed. Initially it was only going to be my ovaries once I was open up my doctors took the decision to take out the rest since it didn't look good. It was followed by 6 rounds of chemotherapy. I was able to get release and cleared in August 2023.

Unfortunately my peace was not for long. I started having symptoms once again late Oct-Nov. I was hospitalized January 3 due to pain and me not being able to breathe on my own. Once again labs and scans confirmed Cancer stage 3. I have a mass on my liver, 3 on my right lung and 5 on my left one. They believe the cells made their way up the Peritoneal Cavity and spread to other organs silently.

My Health Care team plans are surgery to take out as much cancer as they can, along with more chemotherapy, and radiation. I have had physically the toughest month since then, I have had to missed out on work many days due to the side effects of chemotherapy in which many organs are getting damaged. My body is starting to take a toll since the treatment is so aggressive.

I have a long and hard road ahead of me, but I will not give up. I’d be lying if I said I’m not worried about the journey ahead of me. I ask for your help to cover medical expenses. As many of you know I don’t count on insurance or any government help due to the liabilities and agreement made for 10 yrs with UCIS and my job is on a sign contract with minimal benefits.

Hola, mi nombre es Lizeth, actualmente tengo 33 años y soy madre soltera de 5 hijos. Mis hijos y yo hemos pasado por muchos obstáculos. Empezamos de 0 (literalmente de la nada) después de mi divorcio. Dios nunca se ha apartado de nuestro lado, solo puedes imaginar lo difícil que fue para mí criarlos teniendo la custodia completa y por mi cuenta. Después de soportar esto durante 5 años, mi vida finalmente parece estar cambiando para mejor, incluido un trabajo increíble, todo FINALMENTE parece estar en su lugar cuando de repente mi salud tomo un cambio.

Como muchos saben hace un año comencé mi batalla contra este monstruo cuyos médicos confirmaron los resultados de Cáncer de Ovario (Neoplasias Ginecológicas). Me sometieron a una cirugía de histerectomía abdominal. Se me extirparon las trompas, el útero, los ovarios y el cuello uterino, y el omen tum. Inicialmente solo iban a ser mis ovarios, una vez que estuviera abierta, mis médicos tomaron la decisión de extirpar el resto ya que no se veía bien. Fue seguido por 6 rondas de quimioterapia. Pude obtener la liberación y el alta en agosto de 2023.

Lamentablemente mi paz no duró mucho. Comencé a tener síntomas nuevamente a finales de octubre-noviembre. Fui hospitalizada el 3 de enero debido al dolor y a que no podía respirar por mi cuenta. Una vez más, los laboratorios y las exploraciones confirmaron que el cáncer está en etapa 3. Tengo una masa en el hígado, 3 en el pulmón derecho y 5 en el izquierdo. Creen que las células subieron por la cavidad peritoneal y se propagaron silenciosamente a otros órganos. Los planes de mi equipo de atención médica son la cirugía para extirpar la mayor cantidad de cáncer posible, junto con más quimioterapia y radiación. He tenido el mes más duro físicamente desde entonces, he tenido que faltar al trabajo muchos días por los efectos secundarios de la quimioterapia en la que se están dañando muchos órganos. Mi cuerpo está empezando a pasar factura ya que el tratamiento es muy agresivo. Tengo un camino largo y duro por delante, pero no me rendiré. Mentiría si dijera que no me preocupa el viaje que tengo por delante. Pido de su ayuda para cubrir los gastos médicos. Como muchos de ustedes saben, no cuento con ningún seguro ni ayuda del gobierno debido a las responsabilidades y al acuerdo celebrado durante 10 años con UCIS y mi trabajo consiste en un contrato firmado con beneficios mínimos. Ninguna donación es demasiado pequeña y cada contribución marcará una gran diferencia.
