Love Does Tour

After reading his book, Love Does, Bob Goff has taught me that, "love is never stationary." In an effort to make this truth a reality in my life, I've been inspired to join his ministry, Restore International, to raise support and awareness for children victimized by war in Uganda, primarily through Restore Leadership Academy located in Gulu. 

With a team of incredibly inspiring world-changers, I will be biking 500 miles down the coast of California in an effort to raise $100,000 to donate toward the academy. In addition to cycling, we will be stopping in communities and churches along the route to speak about the Restore Leadership Academy and the positive impact it is having on the community in Uganda, hopefully inspiring others to join the movement, and "Do" something in the name of love. 

For those of you who know me well, I know what you are thinking:

Am I a biker? 
Nope.

Are I prepared for this?
I sure hope so. (Read: Probably not.)

Do I think I can do this?
Well, that depends on the day and how bad my legs burn, but I'm doing it regardless because, as Bob has taught me, that's what Love Does.
