Hello, my name is Carla Apodaca. Look at the picture of my Mother and me. My Mother was always a beautiful woman.
Just one month ago everything was fine.
Just one month ago everything was fine.
My Mom (Lizbeth Mendoza/ 62 years old) decided to go check on a persistent cough she had been having for half a year.
She had X-rays done and the results came back. Multiple nodules on both her lungs. Too many to count. Advanced cancer being the most likely suspect.

This Monday (05/16/2022) she was hospitalized. It was confirmed she had uterine cancer that spread to her bones and lungs. In addition to that high levels of calcium led to her completely shutting down mentally.
The last day I got to talk to her was on (05/18/2022) and I did not even know it. She wanted me to go to my graduation at Georgetown University. It was her ultimate desire and so I did. I came back on (5/21/2022) and she was no longer responsive.
The doctors are saying she is beyond salvation and that it is a matter of days.
My Mother was my Father's caretaker. Never in a million years did we think that she would be the one to go first.
My Father has successfully defeated throat cancer (2015) and lung cancer (2019) in the past and continues to suffer from a number of other illnesses.

Now my Father and I will be all alone in this world. My mother was the reason for our stability.
Despite it all, we must continue and she is deserving of the best send-off that we can possibly give her. She was deserving of the world.
Nonetheless, my Father & I will need assistance with a couple of things. I will temporarily become my Father's caretaker and will have to settle all outstanding affairs.
Any and all help would be appreciated.
My dear mother has died today (05/27/2022) as of at 7:15am.
She went peacefully in her sleep.
Thank you for reading this and please share. Anything helps at this point.
