To Liza’s Family, Friends and Fans,
The world is a little bit dim without one beautiful soul. Liza passed on July 6, 2026 at 3am peacefully at home, snuggled in her bed and in my arms.
Liza lived a full and adventurous life of almost 18 years. Pretty good for a 40lbs beagle-pitbull.
In her younger years, Liza’s life was packed with running, playing catch, swimming in canals, lakes, pools and oceans, hosting parties, meeting new friends (dogs, cats, racoons, hamsters, kids, friends mom didn’t know…), moving countries, moving states, giving high fives, paddle boarding, surfing, nibbling ears, destroying tennis balls, eating whole carrots and being princess poopy-pants.
In her later years, Liza loved cross-country road trips, tent camping, wagon rides, wearing pearls, naps and still being princess poopy-pants.
Her later years were difficult due to restricted mobility from osteoarthritis; Liza was in pain, but she still smiled, loved to sniff every blade of grass and wander. Her life was made more comfortable after meeting the amazing staff at Trilogy Chiropractic.
Liza’s treatment and chiropractic adjustments gave her a new lease on life, providing stability and mobility. I believe the last few months of Liza’s life were made more comfortable due to her chiropractic care. Saw it with my own eyes. Liza’s chiropractic care changed her life.
Not only did she enjoy going to her appointments every week, Liza loved the chiropractor’s office, meeting new dogs, and stomping straight into the VIP line to get pets, kisses and tender loving care from all the incredible staff.
Liza’s fund has been created to give another senior dog like Liza, the opportunity to feel good in their golden years. The funds will go straight to Trilogy Chiropractic to use solely on a dog or dogs, similar to Liza’s health scenario and her family.
Please donate knowing that these funds will help another senior dog or dogs, feel comfort in the last stretch of their life, being able to walk with a little less stiffness, maybe wag their tail, eat and drink from their bowls a little easier, feel a bit more stable to climb up the doggie stairs to get to couch snuggles, poop with more stability and maybe even turn to sniff their own butt again.
Liza’s absence is profound. She was an incredible dog, my compass and I miss her dearly. It would be a privilege to honor her life with Liza’s Fund.
Share this with other dog parents, dog lovers and animal lovers. Please donate by July 31, 2026. Achieving the goal of $2,500 is the approximate cost of providing a treatment package.
Thank you,
Liza’s mom
