LIZA in LONDON!
Donation protected

Hi, I'm Liza! Or at least I have been for the past 18 years. It's been swell. I've won awards - the 2005, 2012 and 2017 Manhattan Association of Cabarets and Clubs as BEST IMPERSONATOR and Best Duo for "Judy and Liza Together Again" which ran for 7 - count 'em - 7 YEARS at New York's Legendary Cabaret "Don't Tell Mama". I've sung in London before at The Theater Museum in Covent Garden, The Leicester Square Theater (With "Simply Barbra" in "Barbra and Liza LIVE!") at The Apollo Theater in Shaftsbury Avenue for one Spectacular night, at the Dublin Theater Festival where I won the Award for "Best Achievement in Performance" and "Best Production" and, most recently, in the star studded production "Bazazz! - A Sequined Variety" with the likes of "Liberace" (David Maiocco), "Peggy Lee" (Chuck Sweeney), "Simply Barbra" (Steven Brinberg), Karen Wyman, Rick Crom, Miss Molly Pope, Lykken and a whole host of dancing boys.
Now, see, here's the thing. What I have finally learned is I just can't do this without a producer. Or Several. While we have "Sold Out" all over the world, MAKING PEOPLE HAPPY every where we land, our latest adventure includes returning to London after an 8 - count 'em - 8 year absence to our very first Cabaret appearance. That requires new musical arrangements to keep the Brits from nodding off, air fares for the musical director Yasuhiko Fukuoka (and me, natch), a thatched roof over our heads, a simple meal a day, tuppence to feed the birds at St. Paul's and the like. The Pound is a bit stronger than the dollar right now so there is also that.
Once we put the new show together, we can return to the good old U.S. of A and drag the show across the national landscape, spreading good cheer. It's not curing cancer, but it's supporting the arts at the very basic ground level and I think, in the end, the results help keep the soul happy and lighten people's heavy loads for the time spent in reflected sequins ( which, in turn, helps to cure cancer).
Please donate what you can to this humble player and help "Lucy and Ethel get to Europe". If you get that reference, I know you will donate big time.
Love,
Liza
