On Monday, January 4th, Elizabeth Orrico-Szopinski lost her courageous battle against brain cancer. This devastating loss has taken a mother from three children, a wife of 20 years from her husband Michael, not to mention the countless members of Liz's family, friends, and school community who are dealing with this sudden loss. Liz will be remembered for her passion, her wit and humor, her love of teaching Spanish to her students and her boys, and many other countless qualities that made Liz so very special. But, her most important role as she saw it, was being a mother to her boys, Gabe, Ben, and Nate. As the family continues to deal with this great loss, the last thing the family needs to deal with is the financial burden this brings.
