My sister and her two little boys were in a serious, head-on car accident Monday, July 16th. She was on her way home from picking them up at the sitters when a car driving in the opposite direction crossed the center lane causing the SUV in front of her to swerve out-of-the-way and into a ditch, but she was unfortunately hit head on. She was unconscious at the scene, but thankfully a police officer witnessed the crash. She has two broken legs including a compound ankle fracture, two broken arms, a broken elbow, spinal fractures, multiple lacerations/stitches as well as a lacerated liver, kidney and spleen. She is in the ICU after having her 1st surgery late last night into this morning. They placed multiple rods in her leg and right arm, including external fixation. Her oldest son Connor, who is 4, is at Golisano Children’s Hospital with a pelvis fracture. Evan, who is 1, was released and doing well. Please send positive thoughts and prayers as Liz and family have a long road to recovery ahead. We will provide updates as available and able. Anything you can give will help...thank you!!
