Chef Liz Maple has been employed with Untamed Chef over the last five years. Through the last few years Liz has undergone some major health issues. She has had many hip and knee problems, several that led to corrective surgeries. She was not able to work for much of 2023 and while she is back to work now she is only medically allowed to work part time. Over the course of last year Liz has sadly gotten so far behind on house and car payments that she faces losing it all. I have personally watched Liz work so hard serving our community now we ask for your love and support.

Direct From Liz Maple "Currently I am facing these medical issues: the main issue is my hip. Surgery in Jan 2023 was not successful. The next route is a hip replacement, but the surgeon wants the cartilage to deteriorate more before replacing. I have a condition where it is very easy to damage my soft tissue, tendons and ligaments as well as inflammatory arthritis in my joints. I have several more surgeries to go. After the hip is replaced, next in line will be replacing the right kneecap. I'm bone on bone. Then the left thumb joint will be replaced due to arthritis and bone spur. Next, two more surgeries on my left shoulder and left knee. Then possibly repair veins in lower legs to aid blood flow".

Your donations will hopefully allow Liz to continue to work part time and allow her to try to get caught up on payments to keep her home and vehicle as she gets through yet another tough year. Full disclaimer, the fundraiser was not Liz's idea. It was 100% mine. I have personally seen the pain and suffering and what it has done to this beautiful hard working woman and I want to help take care of one of our own.
