It is with heartbreak and profound sorrow that I share the passing of my sister, Liz Breen. A deep soul and a sparkling flame, I had so hoped that the Lord would heal her heart and mind earth-side.

Regrettably, she lost her battle with mental illness on Sunday 10/5/25. Her family and friends are devastated by losing her.

Like a wave breaking on the shore, Liz was fervent, uninhibited and life giving to people (and animals). She had a beautiful way with words and often skillfully captured longing and mystery in her poetry.

We are comforted that she is experiencing love and joy in the embrace of Jesus and our family who preceded her in the next life. She spoke of them often and yearned to be reunited with them.

Please pray for her little boys as they walk through this life without their (single) mom. Healing is messy and arduous. We have a long, challenging journey ahead.
