Liz & Baby Margaret - Fighting for Their Lives

Donation protected

Liz is a dear friend of mine she is fighting for her life and her unborn baby girl.

Liz is a beloved wife, mother, and hair stylist to many in the Vegas Valley.  As many of you know she was so overjoyed when she became pregnant with her rainbow baby. She has 2 little boys Greyson and Shane. She found out that she was having a girl, and the boys were so excited to have a little sister. They decided to name her Margaret.

Recently, Liz had some health complications in her pregnancy and was referred immediately to a high-risk doctor. She was high risk when she was pregnant with Greyson, however this time the complications were much more severe. The doctors were concerned about baby Margaret’s lack of growth and had discussed that they may need to deliver early. She is currently 27 weeks along.

Sunday, May 16th Liz’s doctor told her to go to the ER and be checked for Covid. The hospital stated that they are only allowed to give out so many tests per day, and since she did not “look” like she had it they denied the test. By that Friday she was admitted to the hospital with a severe case of Covid. She has been fighting for her life. She is receiving her oxygen and was moved to a prone bed to keep her rotating and off her spine. She is scared and afraid. Liz asked the doctors to take Margaret today. Her doctor wants to make that the last resort. Liz is so tired and drained from fighting that at moments when she felt things were bleak, she was saying her goodbyes. Family is telling her she is a fighter and giving up is not an option! Both Liz and Margaret need our prayers and support.

Liz and her husband Chris both were out of jobs for a portion of time during the pandemic. Now with Liz unable to work and Chris caring for the boys they are losing income again, in addition to the mass amount of hospital bills they are accumulating and will continue to do so. If baby Margaret survives, she will be in NICU for some time.

Let’s show some love to this incredible family during their time of need. It is beyond scary and both boys do not understand. If you are able to donate we would greatly appreciate it. If you are able to make a meal I will be starting a meal train as well once she is out of the hospital. I will continue to keep this page updated as we know more on both Liz and baby Margaret.
