Hi Family,

Man does it seem like Liz and Rob have some rotten luck when it comes to health.  Just time and time again.  This time I have been thinking about how I can help.  Being far away, can't really pitch in.  But a twist on a scripture keeps coming to mind, I can't tell him to pick up his bed and walk, but silver and gold have I some.  Sometimes there is no better way to show someone you love them than cold hard cash.   I understand that their out of pocket has been met, so medical isn't the issue.  I am more concerned with the time it will take before they can work again in a meaningful way, and I am sure that concern is weighing heavy on them as they deal with the stress of all the other complications that are happening, especially with Christmas right around the corner.  So, if you feel so inclined to join me, I've set this up to gather some money to help with it all.  I set the goal at $1 because this is a no pressure appeal.  Help if you can.  If you can only send well wishes, email them to me at [email redacted].  No matter what I want them to feel our love and support as well.  Any questions, reach out to me.

For those who don't know it all, Rob broke his leg in two places trying not to run over a kid at the roller rink. Both breaks are below the knee and involved surgery with plates and pins. The breaks are pretty gnarly and he currently has compartment syndrome, which is where the swelling is too much and they had to slice open his leg on both sides leaving open wounds.  One side was closed today in another surgery and the other may be closed soon (another surgery) with skin grafts.  Rob is a realtor and even when he gets out on crutches, I can imagine doing his job will be more than challenging.
