Today is the day the Lord has made, so smile and rejoice in it! Most of you know our friends Kevin and Liz Reed. They mean the world to me and because of this I wanted to set up this page for them. Liz has been diagnosed with a pretty rare and aggressive cancer. They have insurance and the deductible has been met for this year. However, the out-of-pocket expenses that is not covered are adding up. The other issue is that with the new year, it will start a new deductible that will be extremely hard on them as well.

Kevin is an incredible man, provider, and even better family man. They both have been an inspiration to me through this. As most of you know Kevin and Liz lost their son many years back and they both struggled with that loss. After many years of praying, their faith and especially Liz's faith grew. When she found out about this cancer, which can be terminal, her faith in God did not go away but realized that through the tragedy of the loss of her son she was able to find Jesus. She knows one day she will be reunited with Alex. At this point, I started to cry! I wish I had her strength!!! Liz is a fighter!!! This really is not about the money as it is more about prayer. The one thing I know is to pray without ceasing and when you do, share what God is saying to you. If you can give, please do. Pay attention and watch how our God will get all the glory in this. I have already seen it through my friends. We love you Kevin, Liz, and Emily.
