Please take this time to mourn and heal with us as we celebrate the life of
Alliyah Vanae Leonard.
Alliyah was born October 17th, 1995 and she sadly ended her life august 19th, 2019
She left this world at the gentle age of 23 barring no children to carry on her legacy, but her Beautiful life will be forever cherished by her beloved Niece, her loving Siblings, a Mother and Father and a plethora of Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins: it is up to us to make people remember who she was. Words cannot explain the grief that has stricken our family to lose such a high vibration of energy, creativity, talent, and beauty. Alliyah's only downfall was her empathetic spirit. She took on Giants she could not slay, she fought in wars she claimed no victory in, and she was born into a world that could not show enough softness for such a tender spirit.
Alliyah – your very name means ascent “an instance of rising through the air.” In life, you could not write the chapters in your own book, but you were able to write the ending to your story. You were audacious, you were courageous and you chose to end your battle.
Although we will never understand we boldly stand with you and support your decision to seek peace in the afterlife. We are asking you all to help us to decorate the wings on our precious baby as she makes her ascent to the heavens by; leaving donations, teddy bears, prayers, also please leave comments, scriptures, and words of encouragements. Whenever you’re in sunny southern California and take a trip to San Diego go on down to the Coronado Bridge and as you cross whisper sweet prayers for our Liyah- Thank you.
