#LivStrong: Support Olivia’s Battle with Stage 4 Cancer

Donation protected
One of Liv’s biggest dreams as 2025 started was getting to see her son Cooper hit the racetrack in the spring with his very first stock car. After three successful years of go-kart racing, her family had fallen in love with the sport and it had simply become a way of life. Not only that, but they also gained a new ‘racing family’ in their lives, something she says they cherish.

Then, on March 18th, everything changed.

Liv was diagnosed with stage 4 triple-negative metastatic breast cancer. It’s incurable, and it can be difficult to treat.

The diagnosis was unexpected and sunk her family’s hearts—and ours. She also told me the diagnosis had come exactly three years after she was diagnosed with stage 1 breast cancer, which she was in complete remission from.

As a practicing RN for over 25 years, Liv’s been a loving, supportive caregiver for others, whether it’s on the hospital floor, on the phone fielding triage calls, or helping her family and friends with questions about random bumps, bruises, and ailments. She truly enjoys her work and the satisfaction it brings, knowing she’s helping people out.

But now she needs our help, guys.

Liv has already started treatments for her cancer, and she’s got a long road ahead of her. Besides needing radiation and immunotherapy, she will need to undergo chemotherapy and other critical treatments to manage her disease. It’s possible she will even join some upcoming clinical trials, so she may need money for travel, lodging, and meals. Liv is going to need time off work too. And things add up.

Here’s something else: Any of you who know Liv and her husband Steve also know that they are hard-working people with big hearts who always find ways to help others and give back. They actually didn’t want anyone starting a GoFundMe for them at first, but some of my friends and I insisted on it. After all, this is what friendship is all about. They agreed.

In these difficult times, it would be nice to bring some sort of normalcy to their lives. Will you please join me in helping Liv and her family by making a GoFundMe donation today? Any amount is appreciated and no amount is too small! Thank you so much for reading this, and thank you for helping make a big difference in their lives. Grateful for you!
