Olivia “Liv” Wethington is the kind of person who makes you believe in hope.
In June 2022, in her mid-20s, she was diagnosed with cancer — and she fought back with an unshakable faith, endless positivity, and a smile that could light up any room. By March 2023, she heard the words she had been praying for: remission. She went on to welcome a beautiful baby into the world. Life was looking forward again. But in April 2025, everything changed. What was supposed to be a routine gallbladder surgery led to unexpected complications and scans… scans that revealed the cancer had returned — this time in her neck and chest. Now, Liv faces her toughest fight yet. Doctors say the only way forward is an aggressive treatment plan, likely including a bone marrow transplant. That means weeks of isolation in the hospital in Louisville, far from her family and her baby.
Why We’re Asking for Help
Since April, Liv hasn’t been able to work. Her partner has had to miss work to care for her and their baby. The bills don’t stop — rent, utilities, medical expenses, food — and the financial weight is becoming crushing. Every single donation, big or small, will go directly toward: • Covering essential bills so they can keep their home stable • Travel and lodging costs during her transplant • Food and basic needs for her partner and baby while she’s hospitalized • Giving Liv one less thing to worry about so she can focus on healing.
How You Can Help Right Now
1. Donate — even $5 makes a difference. 2. Share this page on your social media. 3. Pray & encourage — leave a note for Liv so she can read your words on the hard days.
She has the “Will to Liv” — but she can’t do it alone. Let’s lift her up together.
Thank you for loving her through this.
